Problem | Probable Cause | Solution |
Very high pressure in the hose line when the gun shuts off | Excessive tightening of the spring in the unloader valve | Turn the unloader valve counter- clockwise to reduce the pressure setting in the spring. If that also does not help, check if spring is stuck. If it is stuck, replace the unloader valve. |
Pistons not moving smoothly/ getting stuck | Check & replace if necessary |
Note: Unloader valve is considered consumable and typically has a shorter life span than the pump.
