Tools Required

  • Adjustable Wrench and/or Wrench (14mm, 6mm Hex, 19mm, 24mm, 25mm, 27mm, 28mm)
  • Thread Tape (never use thread sealing compound aka Pipe Dope)


Assemble Pump and Motor:

Firstly, mount the 184TC flange adapter plate that came with the pump, hold the plate flush and mount it using the large bolts in a diagonal pattern (see figure 1). Once the plate is mounted ensure key stock is in place on the motor's shaft. Place the pump's hollow shaft keyway in line with the key stock on the motor and slide the pump onto the shaft. Once the pump is flush with the adapter plate turn it until the pump is level and the bolt holes line up with the holes on the plate. Thread the bolts into place and tighten in a diagonal pattern (see figure 2). Check that pump is filled with oil up to half way line on sight glass (see figure 3) and change the shipping cap for the vented oil cap tightened by hand and not with a wrench (see figure 4).

Attaching Unloader Valve:
Attach unloader valve to pump using the two banjo bolts with the pressure adjuster facing upward, ensure the 2 O-rings are in place at each end of the bolts (see figure 4 & 5). Ensure that you tighten the bolts at the same time so it stays aligned. The unloader valve comes with an inlet filter/mesh screen and quick connect female socket. Using thread tape, install the filer to the inlet and the socket to the outlet.

Mounting Wall Mount Frame: 
Mount wall mount frame to concrete wall with the provided Concrete Sleeve Anchors. If the wall/structure is not concrete then use the appropriate heavy duty mounting bolts that can hold the total weight of the pressure washer. Use the wall mount frame as a template for the bolt locations (see figure 7, highlighted in red)

Mount Pressure Washer: 
Lift the pressure washer onto the frame and place the bolts through the holes of the motor and frame using the holes in Figure 8 & 9 highlighted in red. You can use the two provided nuts & bolts or you can use any bolts that can fit through the holes. Be sure to have at least 1 washer in between the bolt had and motor as well as between the nut and frame. This will avoid causing damage to the parts and allow for a more secure hold.

Connecting Power:

The Remote Control module will have 2 power cord for power in & power out. Power in is the power cord with bare wires and power out is the cord with rings on the wires, which are to be removed for installation (see figure 10).

Using a junction box and Marrettes/twist connectors, the motor's power cord must be wired to the control box's wires (see figure 11). Use the wiring diagram below as a guide to connector your wires, they are aligned by each set's corresponding wire colours. When connecting the control box to your to your power source it will be specific to your facility, either hardwired or by installing a plug for your outlet (plug not included).

The toggle switch on the motor can remain in the "ON" position at all times. Make sure to reference the above system requirements prior to installation.

Connecting Water: 
Start by connecting the inlet garden hose (not included) to pump's inlet filter with mesh screen (see figure 12). Attach the accessories including high pressure hose, spray gun w/ built-in sensor, quick connect nozzle and other compatible parts to the outlet of the pump beginning with the high pressure hose (see figure 12)
Make sure water is running through the system prior to turning on the pressure washer to purge the lines of air. Avoid running the pressure washer without water at any time.

Now that all is connected to power and water, hold the trigger down to let water flow out of the end, press the "ON" button on the RC Module and the pressure washer will power on. You will now have high pressure flowing from the end of the nozzle, the pressure is adjusted with the unloader valve/pressure regulator by turning the black knob counter clockwise (-) or clockwise (+) as shown on figure 13. DO NOT EXCEED THE PUMP'S RATED PRESSURE.

How does the Remote-Control Module work?

The Remote-Control (RC) automatic start/stop operates using a specially designed trigger to emit a wireless signal indicating that water is flowing and allowing the controller to power the electric motor of the pressure washer.

Trigger Pulled = Motor ON
Trigger Released = Motor OFF

When the trigger is released, the RC controller activates standby mode (indicated by the yellow light) which will power down the motor after 5 seconds. The controller is still active until the trigger is pressed again in which it will immediately power the motor on.

If the controller stays in standby mode with not trigger pull for 30 minutes, then the entire system will power down requiring the green "ON" button to be pressed again.

When pressing the "ON" the module powers the motor immediately stays on for 2-3 mins or until first trigger release, then it will go into standby mode. The system assumes that you will be operating the pressure washer and if no trigger pull is sensed then it powers down for the safety of the pump.
